Dr. Terziev holds a PhD in Political Economy and has completed Master’s degrees in Chemistry, Pedagogy and Economics. He has also obtained a Doctor of Economics, a Doctor of Science in National Security and a Doctor of Social Sciences. He currently works as the Chief Executive Officer at the Ministry of Culture for the Republic of Bulgaria, and holds professorships at both the Georgi Rakovski Military Academy and the University of Rousse. He is also the Chief Scientific Secretary at Kaneff University Hospital. He has been awarded numerous accolades for his work, including the 2019 National Prize for Social Innovation (in support of the social economy) from the Bulgarian Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.
He is currently studying social programming, the European labor market, and ways of overcoming the consequences of the pandemic crisis, as well as the management of educational technologies in connection with the challenges of social development. He also conducts interdisciplinary research related to the economic and financial development of the Balkan region and Europe. Dr. Terziev’s papers have been included in 800 scientific publications and cited over 4,000 times by various authors; furthermore, over 250 of his works have been referenced in the systems of SCOPUS and WOS.
