Biography
Sumaya Islam is a passionate entrepreneurship educator and start-up advisor based in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany. As a scientific associate at the University of Paderborn’s start-up centre garage33, she supports students and founders in turning innovative ideas into sustainable ventures. In addition to her academic work, Sumaya serves as the regional spokesperson for the Social Entrepreneurship Network Germany (SEND) in NRW furthering the local social entrepreneurship ecosystem. With a strong commitment to social impact, she empowers emerging entrepreneurs to build businesses that create both economic and societal value.
