Sophie Boutillier is a lecturer, authorized to conduct research. She has a doctorate in economics and sociology. Sophie heads the Research Center on Mutation and Enterprise Economy (CREME) of the RII Laboratory.

She is a specialist in the theory of the entrepreneur and in labor economics, and she is currently researching changes in employment, notably through several
empirical studies in the Dunkirk region and on the consequences of globalization.

Also working on the economy of Greece, Sophie Boutillier teaches at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (Paris).

She is also Director of the Economics / Management Department of the University of the Côte d’Opale Coast. Editor-in-chief of the journal Innovations and co-manager of the collection L’esprit économique, L’Harmattan, Paris.
