Sinem Güravşar Gökçe

Biography

With nearly 20 years of experience spanning the private sector, public sector, academia, and social economy, Sinem Güravşar Gökçe has dedicated the past six years to advancing social entrepreneurship, social innovation, and social impact. As the General Coordinator of İstasyonTEDU – TED University Center for Social Innovation, she has led numerous projects focused on ecosystem development, impact measurement, and capacity building for social enterprises, social innovators, and CSOs.

Her work at İstasyonTEDU includes coordinating research, training programs, and international collaborations on social entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as contributing to the development of Türkiye’s social entrepreneurship ecosystem. She has designed and delivered training on social impact measurement, stakeholder engagement, and social business modeling for various institutions, including development agencies, municipalities, and international organizations.

Sinem is a co-founder of the Türkiye Social Entrepreneurship Network (TSGA/TSEN) and Catalyst Now Türkiye Chapter and serves as a member of the EYDK – Impact Investing Advisory Board. Her research and publications explore social enterprise development, impact management, and public sector innovation.

Her academic publications primarily focus on social cooperatives, impact oriented project management, organizational behavior, management and innovation in the public sector. Her research on public innovation was recognized with the TTGV Dr. T. Fikret Yücel Innovation Award in 2019.

She has previously worked at institutions such as Bilkent University, Roketsan, ABİGEM, and Fırat Development Agency. She has also gained entrepreneurial experience by establishing her own training and consultancy firm. Additionally, she has volunteered with organizations such as Community Volunteers (TOG) Foundation and SendeGel Association.
