Dr. Peter van der Zwan is an associate professor at the Department of Business Studies at Leiden Law School. He obtained his MSc in Econometrics (2007) and PhD in Economics (2011) from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Currently, Peter is bachelor thesis coordinator and education coordinator of the department. He is responsible for the course Business Analytics. Peter is also member of the Leiden Teachers’ Academy. He is deputy head of the Department of Business Studies.
His research has been published in several international peer-reviewed journals such as Academy of Management Perspectives, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Small Business Economics, and Journal of Economic Psychology. His research focuses on a variety of entrepreneurial topics, such as entrepreneurial finance, the role of entrepreneurs within the economy, and on the wellbeing outcomes of entrepreneurial behaviour.
