Luca Grilli is Full Professor of Business and Industrial Economics at the Politecnico di Milano (Italy).
His main research interests revolve around the economics of innovative entrepreneurship, the economics of network industries and the intersection of these two areas. He has participated in numerous scientific projects, promoted by private institutions, Italian public regulatory agencies, Italian public research institutions, the European Commission (i.e. the H2020 Research in Action project FIRES, among others.
He has published articles in several international scientific journals and acted as an editor for books and journal special issues. He has also been a Visiting Professor at SPRU- Science and Technology Policy Research of the University of Sussex (UK) and a former member of technical ministerial committees on the monitoring and evaluation of policies aiming at sustaining the Italian eco-system of innovative start-ups.
