Ieva Žebrytė

Biography

Dr. Ieva Žebrytė is an Assistant Professor and Social Enterprising and Innovation Ecosystems expert from Lithuania.

Currently, Ieva works full-time at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Vilnius University. In 2024, Ieva graduated from the PhD in Management program at the ISM University of Management and Economics (Lithuania) with her PhD thesis on the topic of “Resilience practices by small businesses of vulnerable entrepreneuring ecosystems.” Ieva remains associated to the ISM University sponsored GUESSS Lithuania team which researches Lithuanian college and university students’ entrepreneurship, as well as with the research project “Relationship between Founders’ Age and Company Performance: Cross-cultural Comparison of these Characteristics in Young Innovative Companies.”

Dr. Žebrytė’s research interests include Social Enterprising and Innovation, Entrepreneuring Ecosystems, Small Business & Community Resilience, and Sustainability Entrepreneuring & Innovation. Ieva is a member of AoM 2018-2024, ICSB 2020-2024, as well as “B academics” and “Impact Scholar” communities. Ieva has published in English and Spanish manuals for the business and university communities, as well as scientific work in WoS-Clarivate, Scopus and AJG indexed journals, and book chapters.

Regional community recognised Ieva’s service as one of 100 Women Leaders of La Araucanía, 2021. ICSB awarded Ieva with the “Social Spotlight mini-globe 2021,” “Marketplace mini-globe 2021” and “Womenpreneurs mini-globe 2021.”
