Biography
Hans Wevers is a Teacher and Researcher at the Open University Netherlands, where is currently also pursuing a PhD on the potential role of social entrepreneurship in the EU Cohesion Policy and its impact on cross-border cooperation. He is affiliated with the Faculty of Management and the chair group of Strategic Management. Previously, he worked as a Project Advisor with the Interreg North Sea Secretariat at Viborg, Denmark.
Hans holds a pre-PhD in Business/Managerial Economics from the Open University/Radboud Univerity Nijmegen, for which he researched social entrepreneurship in cross-border areas of the EU; a MSc in Business/Managerial Economics from the Open University, for which his research focused on CSR as a core competence for the business models of social start-ups; and a BSc in Business/Managerial Economics from the Open University.
