Claudia is currently undertaking a joint PhD programme in Management at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and Université de Liège (ULg).
She works under the supervision of Prof. Benjamin Huybrechts and Prof. Marek Hudon, and she is carrying out a research on social enterprise-corporates collaborations (with a focus on microfinance institutions and fair trade organizations). The aim is to highlight the tensions that arise throughout these types of partnerships and identify the challenges that social enterprises face in dealing with actors that embody different institutional logics.
Claudia is also interested in rural finance and value chain financing. In 2015, she conducted a field research on the rice value chain financing in Burkina Faso.
In 2015, She completed an advanced Master in Microfinance at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (European Microfinance Program). Claudia holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations (LUISS Guido Carli in Rome) and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Development and Cooperation (University L’Orientale in Naples, Italy)
