Dr Reilly is a Lecturer at the University of the West of Scotland.
Her current research focus is the Scottish labour market, particularly decent work and access to work. Her wider research interests include: employability, third sector, volunteering, entrepreneurship, social enterprise, and careers guidance.
Prior to her PhD study, she worked for Volunteer Scotland as a Research and Development Officer, where she undertook evaluation and research projects on volunteering and its impact on wider Government policy agendas, including Health, Education and Employment.
Post PhD, she worked as a Evaluation and Research Executive for Skills Development Scotland, where she undertook evaluation of Careers Services in Schools, and rolled a successful programme of digital customer feedback in Careers Centres across Scotland.
Dr Reilly is currently involved in research projects focusing on third sector entrepreneurship, decent work and employablity. She supervises Doctoral study on topics including: decent work, employee engagement, and change management.
Desired research direction
Her desired research direction is to develop further research on work in Scotland, particularly around the quality of work and access to work.
