Produced with Deloitte, this report argues that social enterprises are often at the forefront of the green and digital transitions, helping close gaps such as the roughly 2.6 billion people lacking reliable internet access and 760 million lacking electricity. It profiles social-economy responses (for example environmental-monitoring networks and digital-inclusion programmes) and sets out policy recommendations, including the EU’s own Transition Pathway for the Proximity and Social Economy, for embedding equity into climate and digital policy.
