Abstract
This first edition of the European Social Enterprise Monitor (ESEM) was conducted simultaneously in seven countries. In this report, we present the results of the study in Spain, in which 106 social enterprises participated. The main objective was to gather data from the social entrepreneurship sector in order to social entrepreneurship sector in order to generate knowledge that will enable governments, companies, researchers and society in general to implement policies and implementation of policies and management based on evidence and the specific needs of social enterprises.
