Subject
Mapping of organisations supporting early stage social entrepreneurs in Africa.
Abstract
This mapping is one of the outputs of a project led by the Global Social Entrepreneurship Network to improve the effectiveness and reach of organisations supporting early stage social entrepreneurs in Africa.
Feedback gathered from GSEN members working in Africa and other stakeholders in the first half of 2016, suggested that there was a strong need to better connect organisations supporting social entrepreneurs in Africa, to one-another and to the global impact ecosystem. Therefore, as part of this project, GSEN organised a two-day Learning Workshop in Ghana, in October 2016, hosted by GSEN member Reach for Change. The Learning Workshop is followed by the GSEN annual event in South Africa in March 2017.
